Earlier this summer, Young Money artist Nicki Minaj made headlines when she backed out of her scheduled performance at Hot 97's Summer Jam after Peter Rosenberg expressed his disapproval for her track "Starships". The matter was highly publicized for weeks afterwards and now Nicki says she'll make it up to the fans who were disappointed that she didn't take the stage that day.

Nicki has announced that she'll be performing on August 14th in New York City and according to reports, the make-up concert will go down at the Roseland Ballroom. She took to Twitter to let her millions of followers know of her plans to give them a show.

"Hey barbz, I'm happy to announce my #Free #pinkfridaytour show in #NewYork is going down on aug14th. (This is in ADDITION 2 the Today show). I'm gonna push the time to line up @ the venue back a bit so u guys don't have to miss the Today show".

Pepsi will be sponsoring the show and we'll also offer a live stream online for fans who won't be able to attend.
